Simon Smith is the Deputy Director General of the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water. He is also the Premier’s ‘go to’ person for green skills and environmental technologies.

* Regulatory reforms and financial support for steering renewable energy investment out of South Australia and Victoria and into New South Wales
* The new markets in biodiversity conservation now open for business

About Simon Smith:
Simon Smith heads the group responsible for delivering the NSW government’s policies and programs on climate change, air quality, environmental water, flood and coastline management, protection of native vegetation, and investment in natural resource management.
The Group also delivers industry and community sustainability programs, including a focus on energy and water efficiency, waste minimisation and recycling.
